Full-Time Training - Testimonies

I will be eternally thankful to the Lord for allowing me to spend these past two years in the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA). Here I have seen a priceless view, a view that touches the highest perspective any human being could obtain. Simply put, I have seen the purpose of the eternal, unique God of the universe. When I received the Lord as the Spirit into my spirit, His purpose was to spread into every part of my being so that eventually He would be my entire content (Ephesians 3:16-17). In the FTTA, God's purpose in getting into man has really been unveiled to me. He is not merely after a bunch of saved souls. He is after a building, not a physical building, but a building of God in man and man in God (Ephesians 2:22). He is after thousands of millions of men filled with God and blended and built up together into one new man (Ephesians 2:15). This will give Him the real glory and expression. The FTTA has afforded me the opportunity to see this goal of God and how He carries it out in the Bible and by prayer in the classes, in personal study times, and through various daily exeriences. Because of this, I consider it a top privilege to attend the Training.

Having seen such a view, I feel a new sense of freedom. I am being freed from being distraught over failing to be a “good” person. I am being freed from anxiety to be someone in this world. I am freed from striving to make a living on this earth that is slowly passing away. I am freed from asking, “Why?” when suffering and trials come my way. Everything, and I mean every thing, is for God's eternal purpose. My freedom is knowing that everything is in the Lord's hand, that one day He will gain what He is after in me, that what I need today is just to enjoy Him more as the Spirit with my spirit (Romans 8:16) to gain more of Him in my being, and that His intention is not that I try to live the Christian life on my own, but that I take Him as grace (1 Corinthians 15:10). He has passed through incarnation, human living, death, , and ascension, and has been poured out as the Spirit on all flesh; I just need to enjoy Him more as grace. In situations where I would ask, “Why?” I now realice I can turn to Him and to take Him as the abundant grace. Nothing is a mistake and nothing is meaningless. The Lord can be so much to me if I just ask Him.

Now that I have a glimpse of God's view, I can see that He is really for us, not against us, so when I open to Him in a sincere way, asking Him to grow in me, to make me open concerning a specific matter, or to make some words in the Bible my reality, surely He will answer me. The Training is designed to give countless opportunities to touch the Lord during the day: in the morning by ourselves, during our study times and during our reading of the Bible, and in our houses every evening. Not only am I seeing a view of God's purpose here in the Training, I am also learning how to practically contact Him and be a participant in God's purpose. I have never touched God or sensed His heart's desire as I have here in the Full-Time Training. I have the deep conviction that this Training really belongs to Him. Here I have touched not only God's purpose but also God Himself.
